As a QA Engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with modern APIs, microservices, web and Android applications, third-party integrations, and cloud infrastructures. This role primarily supports clients in the Oil & Gas, manufacturing, and service integration sectors, ensuring efficient and secure data transmission.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated tests for native applications using the latest open-source technologies.
- Build end-to-end automation to validate product functionality and integration across platforms.
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive software test plans and automation frameworks.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress tests, and actively participate in design and code reviews.
- Implement and troubleshoot automated test scripts using modern tools and best practices.
- Work seamlessly within an agile (Scrum) development environment.
- Translate functional requirements into effective automated validation tests.
Required Experience:
- 5-8 years in Software Development or QA within high-volume, transactional environments.
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java/Kotlin, JavaScript).
- 3+ years of experience writing automated test scripts (UiAutomator2, Espresso, Cypress, Appium, Selenium).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) and REST API testing.
- Advanced SQL query skills and solid understanding of REST/HTTP/SOAP and JSON.
- Experience with Android automation frameworks (or Cypress) for comprehensive web application testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred certifications in QA, Agile Scrum, or Public Cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with Android SDK, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
